Jane is a PhD scholar at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), school of Psychiatry. She completed her university studies in Psychology and is particularly interested in developmental and educational psychology. Jane is interested in learning about the health, wellbeing and lived experiences of autistic adults and their carers. She is passionate about designing and conducting research that is inclusive and may be effectively applied to the real world. In her spare time, Jane enjoys playing & learning musical instruments, enjoying good food with friends & family and taking short trips to local natural surroundings.
Research projects Jane is involved in:
- The Australian Longitudinal Study of Adults with Autism (ALSAA); a questionnaire study examining the health and wellbeing of autistic adults over time
- Ageing Well as an Autistic Adult in Australia; interviews exploring the meaning and lived experience of growing older and having a good life as an autistic adult
